On 31st May 2026, Luis from the Netherlands secured an incredible victory in our 2023 BMW G80 M3 competition, proving just how much skill, judgement and precision matter.

Unlike a traditional random draw, the competition was decided through our skill-based lap time prediction challenge. Entrants were tasked with predicting the Target Lap Time set by Lance on the Nürburgring in iRacing.

In an extraordinary result, Luis was one of three entrants who predicted the exact Target Lap Time of 07:09.318. This meant a tie-break challenge was required to determine the overall winner.

The three finalists submitted a new lap time prediction, and Luis produced the closest prediction to the new Target Lap Time, securing the victory and becoming the winner of our BMW G80 M3 competition.

The prize was a stunning 2023 BMW G80 M3 featuring a selection of premium BMW and aftermarket upgrades, or an alternative cash prize of €50,000.

After being announced as the winner, Luis chose to take the €50,000 cash alternative, giving him the freedom to enjoy his winnings however he wished.

And we now know what came next.

Luis used his winnings to buy a 2018 Audi RS3 finished in Nardo Grey - his favourite colour. It is fantastic to see his Gapped win turn into a car he genuinely wanted and can now enjoy.
